Two Options for Acne Scars: Scar Care Gels and Surgery

Subcision, however, uses a small scalpel or small pair of scissors to release the upper layers of skin from the underlying scar tissue. This procedure cause some bruising as blood rushes in to occupy the space between the skin and scar tissue. Nonetheless, this is exactly what helps level out the skin.
Alternatives to Surgical Scar Removal
Special scar care gels or scar creams can be used to treat scars. This type of treatment can help treat minor scars or new scars better than old scars. They can also be used after one has undergone surgery in order to help promote scar less healing.
